RedE Vault Hardware Information

System Requirements

The RedE Vault Software Requires Microsoft Windows XP or greater, .net framework 4.0, 1GHz processor, 256MB ram, 50MB hard drive space minimum.

Capacity

The RedE Vault USB flash drive is currently available in 8GB capacity. That is the equivalent of over 5000 floppy disks. The Red E Tag solution is virtually limitless since the files are stored on the Microsoft Azure Cloud Storage Service.

Speed

Speeds vary by RedE Vault product and options chosen. All of our RedE Vault USB Flash drives are made with high quality flash chips to ensure long life and high performance.

Aircraft Aluminum, EPDM Seals, High Temperature epoxy potting compound, Stainless Steel screws and hinge pin, gold plated contacts

RedE Vault Feature Information

What is the Unique ID For

The unique ID on your RedE Vault allows you to track and secure access to any backup or sync data stored on our servers. The Red E Vault also includes a unique security code to insure security during registration and customer service contacts.

Encryption/Decryption and General File Storage

Protect your data with optional AES 256-bit encryption. For areas where AES-256 encryption is restricted we offer several other varieties of encryption as well. Additional security methods are employed when using our service that is hosted on the Microsoft Azure platform. Security options are not available in all areas, please contact us for specific information.

Multilingual Capabilities

The Red E Vault is capable of using the language of your choice. If we do not currenlty have the desired language in the system we can import it for you.

What If I Lose / Damage The Device?

If you have lost or damaged your Red E Vault and you have our sync service you are protected by the redundancy built into the Microsoft Azure Cloud Services. You can purchase a replacement Red E Vault and can easily restore your data to the new one. This insures your data is always available and able to be recovered no matter the issue.

Engraving Services

Your company name, logo and serial number can be laser engraved on the Red E Vault aluminum tag or the Red E Tag solution. This is a great way to make tracking easier and even better for molds or other products that are moved between work sites or permanently housed at a business partner’s facility. Please contact us for the required engraving template to fill in for your product.
