RedE Vault Hardware Information

System Requirements

The RedE Vault Software Requires Microsoft Windows XP or greater, .net framework 3.5 sp1, 1GHz processor, 256MB ram, 50MB hard drive space minimum.

Capacity

The RedE Vault is currently available in 8GB capacity. That is the equivalent of over 5000 floppy disks.

Speed

Speeds vary by RedE Vault product and options chosen. All of our RedE Vault USB Flash drives are made with high quality flash chips to ensure long life and high performance.

Construction

Aircraft Aluminum, EPDM Seals, High Temperature epoxy potting compound, Stainless Steel screws and hinge pin, gold plated contacts

RedE Vault Feature Information

What is the Unique ID For

The unique ID on your RedE Vault allows you to track and secure access to any backup or sync data stored on our servers.( It also allows RedE Vault staff to easily lookup version and support information regarding your RedE Vault device(s) and software subscription(s).

Encryption/Decryption and General File Storage

Protect your data with optional AES 256-bit encryption. Additional security methods are employed when using the RedE Safe backup service or RedE Sync service. Security options are not available in all areas, please contact us for specific information.

Multilingual Capabilities

The RedE Vault ships with several languages installed by default. The current list includes English(USA), French(Canadian), German, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish, Spanish(Mexico) and Swedish. If your language is not on the list, never fear. You can add your own language or edit the languages already included. In addition to the multilingual user interface the template designer allows fields to be named as the user chooses making them inherently multilingual as well.

What If I Lose / Damage The Device?

If you have lost or damaged your RedE Vault and you have our backup or sync service you are protected by our sophisticated cloud storage redundant storage and retrieval system.You can purchase a replacement RedE Vault and can easily restore the new one. This insures your data is always available and able to be recovered no matter the issue.

RedE Vault Custom Options

Engraving

Your company name, logo and mold serial number can be laser engraved on the RedE Vault aluminum tag. This is a great way to make tracking easier and even better for molds or other products that are moved between work sites or permanently housed at a business partner’s facility. Please contact us for the required engraving template to fill in for your product.
